About the role: Assists setting leader in the planning, review and delivery of good quality play based experiences / the Foundation Phase curriculum and with pupil care, health, safety, welfare, emotional and behaviour support. Contributes to providing a warm and welcoming environment within the setting where children and carers can feel valued and obtain positive help and support for a range of activities. The post receives direction from and is accountable to the Setting Leader or ‘responsible individual’ or other senior member of staff. About you: • Have experience of working as an additional adult within a childcare setting. • Have experience of working within Flying Start. • Have an understanding of additional learning needs. • At least GCSE/GCE (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy and have achieved at least NVQ3 or have equivalent experience or qualification in a child related discipline. What you will do: Provide support as an additional adult to enhance play opportunities, and serve as a key worker to implement effective planning and observations. Communicate effectively with parents to provide regular updates on their child's progress, and collaborate on strategies to support their development. Efficiently complete all relevant paperwork and ensure timely uploads to the Tyfi system
