There are two positions available, a North Powys and South Powys post, please specify which post you would like to be considered for on your application formAbout the role: The Mental Health Team Manager role involves providing clear leadership and management to social workers, AMHPs and support workers. The focus is on supporting individuals to live independently by fostering a strengths-based approach. The manager will oversee performance, ensure adherence to best practices, and collaborate with partner agencies to deliver high-quality mental health services within Powys.About you: • Proven experience in a multi-agency/multi-disciplinary environment• Commitment to developing practice and services• Ability to oversee complex, high-risk cases• Strong leadership and management skills• Effective crisis management• Knowledge of relevant legislationWhat you will do:• Provide clear leadership, management, and direction to the team• Manage performance and ensure adherence to strengths-based principles• Support the Senior Leadership Team in modelling high-quality practice• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement• Build and maintain relationships with partner agenciesIf you have any questions about the role, please contact: recruitment@powys.gov.uk
