Welsh Stream KS2 Teacher Part-time (0.4 F.T.E.) and Permanent Starting 1st September 2025 Builth Wells Primary is a dual stream primary school for children aged 4-11 years. Some of our children learn primarily through the medium of Welsh and some primarily through English. Although dual stream, we are very much one school and are proud that all our children are encouraged to identify as citizens of Wales and the wider world. Within the school building, we have eight classrooms, four in each stream and host an Area Learning Support Class on behalf of the Local Authority. We also have a Welsh medium pre-school group, Cylch yn yr Ysgol, and a Ti a Fi bilingual parent and toddler group. We are looking for a part-time teacher for 7–11-year-olds in our Welsh stream to start in September 2025. We are looking for a dedicated individual who: • is a capable, skilful teacher familiar with the Curriculum for Wales • is highly motivated and able to form excellent relationships with children. • is kind, caring and sympathetic to the individual needs of children. • has high expectations of learning and behaviour. • works well as part of a team.
