The Governing Body of Ysgol Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, a dual stream primary school in the Tanat Valley in Mid Wales, wishes to appoint a Headteacher who will continue to take our homely, happy and progressive school forward.

We are looking to appoint a leader who:

• Will inspire and motivate the staff, pupils and community;
• Demonstrates effective leadership and management skills;
• Is an innovative, enthusiastic and dynamic practitioner;
• Has high expectations in all aspects of school life;

• Has the ability to promote effective teamwork;
• Has an up-to-date knowledge of current curriculum developments, both at local and national level;
• Is a strong strategic leader;
• Communicates well with all stakeholders.
