About the opportunityWe are looking for someone highly skilled, experienced, knowledgeable and resourceful, who is fully committed to making a difference to the learning and progress of every pupil. You’ll be a highly motivated and constructive contributor to our team, in our ‘growing’ and continually improving school.Most of your role will be working with individual and small groups of learners across all age groups. We are looking for a talented and agile practitioner to support learners of different ages and abilities to recover and improve their skills in numeracy, literacy, speech and language. You’ll have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, initiative, empathy and understanding of a range of pupil needs. What you will needYou will have completed a Teaching Assistant, BTEC Nursery Nursing or equivalent qualification, or alternatively you may have a degree in early years or education, and be seeking practical experience in a school, prior to teacher training. Ideally, you will have at least two years of recent experience in a primary school, and have experience of working with neuro diverse children. This post could be undertaken in conjunction with our Breakfast Assistant vacancy.
