Main Purpose of Post:
The Support Worker will be employed in the rehabilitation of adults with mental health problems within the community.
The Support Worker will be expected to advise and support persons with mental health difficulties and assist them to develop personal, occupational and life skills. The Support Worker will receive the relevant training to carry out these tasks.
Arrangements for working hours should be flexible in order to meet the specific needs of each user. Therefore, Support Workers will be working hours of 9.00am – 5.00 pm and occasionally weekends and holidays for which the appropriate enhanced payment will be made.
